The character was supposed to sybolize a angry teen girl in the music industry. The colored sketches were the first ones created and then the client came with the feedback that they wanted more attitude and a more punk or goth feel to the girl. Logo type made for Malmö based web agency. They requested a playful, vinyl toy inspired dog character to go with their name. This character should have a bit of attitude and at the same time be cute. The first step in the logotype process was for me to sketch up a variation of different dog characters. The dog character was illustrated in a soft and milky style. Then I played around with placement and logotype, the result was a soft and playful character with a strict simple logotype, a balanced combination.
